In line with this policy, we provide a range of facilities that enable clients to offset the carbon dioxide emissions of their company vehicle fleets.
Inchcape Fleet Solutions delivers a variety of innovative solutions designed to offset the carbon dioxide produced during the operating lifetime of a vehicle. In addition, we are able to offer individual drivers the opportunity to opt into our new carbon offset scheme, independent of any arrangements made by their employer.
In order to assist our clients further in the implementation of improvement measures, we have developed an interactive CO2 model that calculates the total emissions across an entire fleet and supplies a projection of CO2 tonnage over a three-year period. Moreover, when a new vehicle is ordered, our online fleet tool automatically shows the driver an alternative vehicle with lower CO2 emissions.
Internally, Inchcape Fleet Solutions adheres to the principles of reduce, reuse and recycle. Most of our company cars are diesel, with lower CO2 emissions, and, wherever possible, we supply the latest EURO IV compliant vehicles. In addition, our Portsmouth headquarters uses low-energy lighting, and we have a number of policies in operation to minimise paper consumption.
